Opinion Couldn\\\'t get it to work on my Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Help could be a little simpler. For the record. I unzipped the .jar files into the Java/Bin directory then set the file association for .jar files to javaw.exe as instructed. I then tried to associate .pdf files to FreePDFreader.jar and kept getting a message saying couldn\\\'t find main class or something... Cant be bothered to troubleshoot it. I just hate Adobe reader Foxit looked good but nags you eventually and also cant seem to remember things like paths etc :-(

couldn't seem to make it work with .dcm files on my macintosh. . . which was why I downloaded the program. :-(

Worked perfectly on my MacBook.

Unfortunately the file I required to open, an igs, was not possible to view with Rational Plan Viewer.. was led to testing the program by search engines. Thanks for the try out though.

Doesn\'t handle JP2 file format - my preferred archive format, otherwise looks a good program. Possibly give it another try later

The One Cat Viewer fulfilled the function I downloaded it for without any problems, that is, to view Photoshop images and to save them as smaller jpg files. No problems downloading or using.

A very good software, really easy to use and intuitive.

Worked well for what I needed, no problems.

It works fine...even under Vista and the new intel Processor i7....

The software promo says it would open .dgn files however when tried it said it did not recognise the format. Stuart.

Not very good . It did not even recognise RAW files it show jpg files but they are around by the hundreds.

Function was unfortunately not as expected.Generating an extra preview-JPG is not a good solution.cheers

I can't really give an unbiased and proper review of the software, since it wasn't useable with my Sony Alpha images and the .ARW extension. I had to remove it and go looking for something else.

Works great. Can now open *.cmd files even though .cmd is still associated with Chem Draw on this computer.

Unable to download because of getting shunted to another window which seems irrelevant

I downloaded help explorer as I'm testing Windows 7, which will NOT allow the use of older help files... I was hoping help explorer would. It does let me see some of the help files but not quite the same as they are in Windows xp. I'm still looking for an aftermarket viewer that will simply run old help files on Windows 7

I think what happened is I selected "review", then discovered I had to register (?) before I could download, and did not want to register. I found another freebie that served my needs.Thank you.

I did not actually review the product - I thought I was going to need it but found my problem with viewing CHM files was a security issue in XP which I have resolved.Thanks and good luck!

Thank you for the oportunity to give comment on Free DWG Viewer. I have downloaded the software and installed it but I was not able to use it. Whenever I try to open any DWG file I get the following error message: \"Invalid license. Unable to load files.\" There are also two buttons offered: OK and Update. When clicking on Update, it takes you to the web site where there is no option to upgrade the license.Bottom line, Im very unsatisfied with Free DWG Viewer.

It took about 15 mins to download but it did the job.

I had an earlier copy of Help Explorer and was satisfied. Now I wanted a new copy for other system and downloaded 3.0 suposedly for several Linux versions including Red Hat, but could not install, the script asked for KDE specific folders (my systems are CENTOS Gnome). Did not pursue further the matter.

This worked fine for me I had some files writen in odt file and the down load was easy and installed its self with out any complications.John Allen

I searched for chm viewer Linux and found your program. All information I found indicated "free download" and stuff like that. After downloading and installing it said something about "trial version". So I spent ten minutes trying to find what that meant. When I found that the real version would cost me something like $50, I deleted the trial version before starting it the first time. kchmviewer does the job and is included in my OS.

I am intersted in getting a help explorer type program that will work with Ubuntu Linux, however when I follow the link to download the Linux version I am confronted with I believe to be a Russian page which I am unable to go further with the download....jrclat

Unpleasant surprise Hi,I've tried to install & run your viewer yesterday, but I was unpleasantly surprised - nothing happened (no window appeared or any STDOUT or STDERR message was shown), after I run it (why is the installation process asking for a PATH directory anyway? There is no much use for a PATH link, called "help" in BASH - it has it's own (preferred) program, called help already. As I have never seen this program running, I don't really feel competent to answer questions below.

Didn`t work for me Unfortunately, Windows CHM reader doesn't work on my system after installing IE8 (the same for my work colleagues). This application must use the same method of rendering, because it is also effected with the same problem (no pages render). The only solution was to get a Firefox plugin, and that worked great.

Did not work. Sorry, but on choosing open in the menu, nothing happens. So I deinstalled the software.

First use. At the first use this program seem to be easy to use, and respond at my first wanted opening hxs files.
